When driving over-sensibly i dont have a problem, but if i open it up, the CEL comes on as i back off, as soon as i open up again, at around 5k the boost and engine revs die, take foot of throttle, and revs and boost come back, and shortly after the CEL will go off

Ive checked the CEL codes, and its shows code 45 (MAP sensor), ive changed it for a spare i carry, and it still does the same.

Anybody any thoughts or similar experience???



Car is a 93wrx, the engine is a 94 RA, with either the 93wrx std 'U8' ecu ,and ive tried my Z4 ecu...both ecu's show the same CEL code

i might be wrong but check your oil. if it is over the full mark it can cause this. i am still trying to get all the oil out of mine. it goes everywhere.
