Traces of oil in coolant
Hi All,
Need some advice. Have found small traces of oil droplets floating on top of coolant. However no coolant is found in the sump oil. No white smoke is observed. Car
drives and idles fine.
Head gasket were just changed 10k miles ago. Heads were also machined.
Before pulling the head off again, what other sources of oil into the coolant are there? Could it be the oil cooler leaking oil into the coolant?
Could oil be introduced into the coolant via the turbo ?
Car is 94 WRX, 15 psi boost, stock standard.
Also has anyone had any success in stopping head gasket leaks or remedied cracked
heads using Bars leak or any other block sealers?
Would it be worthwhile trying or is it only going to clog up radiator/heater cores, costing more repairs in the end?
Any experience or ideas will be appreciated!

Your car doesnt have one of those
As for oil introduced via the turbo, well that uses oil to cool, actually that uses the engine oil to cool so if your getting hydrocarbons (i believe thats the correct term) into your coolant then you have one big problem on your hands
Get the car down to a speciallist, it could be something more sinister than the gasket, especially if you have had the heads done (minute crack etc) which you wont find by looking at it
