Import 110MPH Fuel Cut, How to get rid off it??
Hello All
How does the 110MPH spped limiter work on a MY93 Import
I currently have just a 110MPH face fitted so the Odometer reads in KPH still..
Does the Speedo send a signal to ECU to fuel limit? If So I have a 5/8 convertor for cable and have ordered a 180MPH Face. Will this get rid of it?
If I am wrong how can it be done
I am running with a Z4 ECU at mo.
Cheers
Rob

Ive just got a Z4 ecu for my car, but due to problems described on another thread, my car is well out of action..(head gasket failure - 6miles after having replacment engine fitted, due to crankshaft bearing failure in the original.)
As you are running Z4, what fuel do you use??

I use either Shell Optimax or If really stuck then Texaco Super Unleaded... If I can't get them then I opt for putting in anything just enough to get back to a Shell/Texaco.
Sorry to hear about your car... Hope you are back on the road soon..
