93 wrx boost

Default 93 wrx boost

have just bought a 93 wrx import which is rinning 9 psi boost, is this correct cos my uk 2000 used to run about 13 psi, the car hits 9 psi and holds it but i expected a few more pounds like my old uk had

should be 13 psi, sounds as though its either in limp home or someopne had a problem and just cheated the boost control by connecting turbo and actuator together.

if it's a saloon then 11.47psi
if it's a wagon then it may well drop to about 9psi

How do you check for this?
where is the actuator and wastgate?
