Exclamation Looking for a Digital Temp display for intercooler core temp

Hi All

I am looking for a small digital temp display with a flying lead to read the intercooler core temp.

I am looking for something like THIS ! so I can locate it on my dash board.

I have checked our RS and Maplin but they either are to large or have a slow refresh rate.

Can anyone help.

Cheers

Neal

Why not use a SPA design combine temp/boost gauge. These have adjustable LED alarm which could trigger water injection or spray. Check the web site for more info.

here's a picture of mine. It works very well and would'nt be without. I have seen temps up to 50c when standing in traffic. It is fairly quick to show any change of temperature, ie water spray on intercooler.

Sorry can't help where to get one from as it was installed when I brought the car.

Installed? well I can think of other words to describe it.

But, it looks like it does the job.

Maplin do a computer case with a power supply for £50IIRC. Is he mad you ask, we're talking about temp guages?

Yes, yes. But this case has 2 small surface mounted temp guages, which are 12v powered and have thermocouples as well. They may even be illuminated!

This is what I have, from what I gather it also has some operations which allow the setting of thresholds that once acheived it can control a switch on or off, i.e. fan etc here is a pdf with a bit more info.... http://personal.telefonica.terra.es/...ell/WM_961.pdf

Have a look at the General Description in english, pretty nice looking IMHO.
It is made by Eliwell Model EWPC 961, runs on 12V and I have just made sure it works.

Let us know

Do any of these support two inputs, and have a switchable display between the 2?
