Forge VTA dump valve spring

I have a my00 classic turbo and have fitted a forge VTA dv. What colour spring should I be using in the DV so that I dont damage my turbo and so that I dont loose boost???

I was told by a garage its the red spring as its the strongest and the others open to easily, The red spring will only dump when booting it over 3000rpm
