As above, can anyone advise what oil usage is like. I have a 30k car, almost one year old. Checked the oil at the weekend to find almost no register on the dip stick? The car has probably only done 3-4k since I last checked it. Also, any idea how much oil from min - max on the dip stick.?

Theres about 1/4 to 1/2 of a litre between max and min on the dip stick...

I change the oil in my 1999 STi every 3-4k any way, there is no usage in oil between changes and thats with the engine covering 65k

 

Seems to be a common problem on the MY03- mine seems fairly heavy too.
