Hitachi spare parts (TPS)
A new TPS is bloody expensive (£170), and after examining it yesterday, it looks like a 20p part.
Consists of a spring, potentiometer, plastic housing and connector. And thats it
Does anyone know a source for Hitachi bits? Had a quick look on the net, but cant find anywhere.

Import the part.
www.irs.co.jp
Cost me about £50 total.
Part & shipping £36.
Tax & handling about £15.
Took 3 days to get here
.
RM were the slowest bit, as you have to pay the tax & handling before they release it.
Don't forget the throttle housing gasket.

Ive ordered bits from Japan befor, but the price difference is shocking! 
Throttle sensor 3850 YEN (£19.85)
Throttle body gasket 140 YEN (£70p)
Express Mail 3250 YEN (£16.77)
Total £37.34
Thats a saving of £130 ish Ok, i'll get stung with the usual rip off handling / vat rubbish. but it'll still be £50.
