Default URGENT..need an answer...

Hi guys..

Right..
I've got an MY98 car...with a MY00 tmic, i've been running without a dv for a few weeks, as i was waiting for an adaptor from H&S, so i could fit my HKS SSQV.

Now...all i need to know is...where does the other end of the silly wee vacuum hose go ???
I really aint got a clue about these things..
One end goes on the back of the d/v, but where does the other end go ?

Greasemonkey...you're bound to know !!

Cheers
Johnny

Johnny, is the 00TMIC much better than a 98 anyhow ? Or have you changed it for some other reason ?

Ta,

Mark

Hi Mark...it`s slightly bigger than the 98 cooler...
But i`m still tempted to go buy an APS tmic..

I changed cos i`ve changed everything else, turbo, headers etc...
I did have a front mount, but sold it.

Well...at first i had big plans for the car, 550s, bigger turbo, fmic...
But then decided to be a bit more sensible, and sold everything, and went for 440s, vf30, hks headers.etc..and Gems.

So an fmic wouldn`t really be worth it, as i aint going for big power, just a small hike.

Fairy snuff !

I've been thinking of improving the TMIC in mine, but I don't really want to go for any more power, as the mileage is a bit high now and I'm running 280 already - but I would like to ensure the charge temps are lower in the summer -

Been considering the FMIC (hybrid) from next GB - around 400 quid I think, but I'm concerned that I'd need to re-map .... (again)

That leaves me with an upgrade TMIC as the only option - but $$$$ !!!

Aye...thats where my fmic came from, i was on the first Hybrid GB.
Only reason i can be picky just now is, it aint been mapped yet.
