Oscillating boost

MY98 PPP std boost control - boost rises to 1.1 or 1.2 bar then drops back to about 0.8 then up to a bar then back & forward etc - eh?
Any ideas

Boost Control Solenoid - may well need to be cleaned out with carb cleaner
