After Some Advice Please
Hi All
I have a MY95 UK Turbo wagon and it has just started making a clicking noise from the front of the car when turning right, this noise speeds up as you accelerate. It only does this when turning right i.e junction or roundabout and not left or straightline. Could this be a drive shaft? and any ideas of cost.
Many Thanks in advance.
Pete

It could be a driveshaft but it could be several other things. Something as simple as a bit of twig stuck in your brake caliper. You need to take the car to somebody you can trust to diagnos the problem accurately without making it into a drama.
Do you have a local garage you can trust?
Where are you based?

Based in Trowbridge (Wiltshire), the main dealer in Bristol is a good 40 mile round trip. Definatly not a twig or branch though not that type of sound.
"IF" it is Drive Shaft any price ideas?

Pete:Sorry I cannot give a price as it will depend on local labour rates and if a suitable replacement is available second hand. Canvas advice from local Scooby owners as to a local garage with Scooby connections, often a rally team and so on. It pays to put some effort into finding a competant, honest company to look after your car or give advice, even if you have to travel a bit it will work out best in the end.
