Default Tek 3 and Lambda sensor Q??

Had my car re-mapped (Tek 3) a couple of weeks back and discovered that my lambda sensor was dead. I ordered a new one and have just fitted it, I have Just taken it out today and I swear its not as smooth as it was, nothing has changed in respect of the boost as it still reads the same as after the re-map.
Before I disturb Bob, just wondered if anybody had any idea. Do I need to do an Ecu reset?

I would do a reset, dont forget bob will have checked fault codes b4 mapping & will have used his own WB lambda, not your dodgy 1, ironically enough mine gave up the ghost about a few months after mapping, i suspect its got something to do with higher EGT's, although it had done 39000 miles

Do not do a reset, the reason its "not as smooth" is that the ecu is now adding and subrtracting fuel off boost, I mentioned this might happen.

Andy doing a reset is not a panacea for everything and whilst its not been learning fuel it HAS been learning ignition timing. Simb's was knacked when he arrived btw.
Didn't matter as I map with the wideband and the ecu almost ignores the lambda if it not generating any output hence the reason for feeling smoother.

cheers

Cheer's Bob, that saved me a telephone call tommorow. So to sum things up, I should just leave it and it will get back to normal, as the the Ecu will make automatic adjustments?

Yes, now the sensor in and working it will sort out its long term off boost fueling to minimise the short term adjustments it needs to make, your on boost fueling will not be affected.

cheers
