I think i have just blown my MY94 WRX engine. Can anyone recommend someone to do a rebuild or supply and fit a new one.

API engines can fit a low mileage imported Jap motor with warranty for around £2k installed or £1.5k diy. (approx).

The other cheap option is to look for a used unit since quite a few people seem to be pulling out their motors at the mo' to replace with 2.5 unit from the states. Just look in the for sale section here and at www.sidc.co.uk or post a wanted.

If moneys not an option then there are loads of places that will rebuild but it will cost a lot more.

 

You could ask David at API if he could re-build your engine and that could save you a bit.
