wet wheather

Unhappy wet wheather

does anyone have problems like i do in wet or damp wheather?
i have a uk95 impreza which runs like a beauty in the dry,but when we have
damp or rainy wheather runs like a sack untill it reaches normall operating
temp.it misfires coughs and splutters and will not boost utill warm and makes me ruddywell cross.any ideas anyone please...................aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh.

Bit of a difficult one to try and sort out remotely. Could be cracked coil packs that short out when they get condensation or rain on them. Have you removed the covers from the 'air vents' in the bonnet?. They should never be taken off because the solenoids on the drivers side inner wing hate getting wet!!

Or it may be as simple as putting a few extra earth leads [ proper full size ones] from the engine to the chassis in a number of places. Also a proper full size one from the ECU frame to the battery earth. Works wonders and is one of the best cheapest mods around.
