Question Emissions

I have an MY93 and run on Optimax. Last year at MOT time the garage told me I was running VERY rich at idle. At 2500rpm the Co level dropped and the test was passed.

Original exhaust so both cats still in place. Also original ECU so mapped for Jap fuel.

Since the last MOT I have been running Octane Booster for a while (Millers)

What I want to know is how the emissions test will be affected by the booster? i.e will the ECU make the car run leaner at idle if it sees fuel it is expecting or is it best to run some shi*&y fuel just for the MOT???
