BACKFIRE AND CLUTCH JUDDER?
High Folks
Couple of questions need answering please.
1. WRX MY94 usual mods (induction kit, Full exhaust sytem, high flow down pipe). Question is that when giving it a bit it backfires very loudly when I chande gear. Is this ok or is something not right? Is it safe? Been doing it for a while.
2. Had a new Borg and Beck clutch fiited yesterday and when pulling away or changing down a gear it judders like a bitch. Is this normal? Does it just need wearing in or is something not right.
Any help would be great
Cheerz.

The backfire is totally normal... get someone to follow you real closely and FLAME them
Im no expert on technical stuff, but did you have the flywheel skimmed at the same time? mine is juddering some mornings and occasionaly slipping a little when i pull away quickly. Ive been told the flywheel needs to be skimmed to stop this happening.
All that aside, reading through previous posts on here i think its a common fault on the older models
