Default Manual Booste Controller

Has anyone fitted a MBC or Bleed Valve for cheap performance gains. If so what boost is safe to run on standard fuelling and do you replace the EBC that is fitted to the car . I used to use one on my Fiat Coupe and for an extra 3/4 psi of boost it run fine. I know it's not the best way of improving BHP but with an ECU that is constantly learning surely you could take the boost levels a bit higher.

Ive got a GBE manual boost controller on mine which ive got running at 15psi at the moment.
The fuel cut is 15.5 psi so you should be safe at 15.
But get a boost gauge so you know what your running, ive got one on the way myself
