P1 Engine cut out???

P1 Engine cut out???
Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea what the problem could be?
Pulled away from a junction in 1st that leads straight onto a right hand bend followed by a left bend, was on full throttle in 2nd gear when the engine suddenly lost all power, after lifting off the throttle the engine went back to normal again.
Got very worried and tried again, same thing happend again!
Car had just under quarter tank off fuel (was on way to garage )
Any help appreciated?!

Danny, it was probably the Fuel cut, which is set at a certain boost pressure. If the ECU detects that the car has hit this target for a long enough period, the ECU shuts down the fuel supply until boost pressure is reduced! 
Nothing much to worry about, unless you have done some mods to the car without having it Re-mapped in some way! 
(eg full decat and induction kit usually does it!)

not many cars make full boost in second gear mate??
