Default LINK ECU

Is there anyone in or around Scotland that can map the Link ecu, or is BR the only place?
Also after getting head gaskets done, the led lights on the Lambda and Knock link boxes dont go up and down with the engine speed/load etc. The green light on the bottom left stays on all the time but the led's do flicker when ignition key is first thrown, to show they work.
It also feels down on power slightly but seems to boost 1.2 bar still.
Is this an indication of ecu in a safe mode?
Help appreciated.
Cheers guys.

There are a few people here who a good enough to map your car safely (important word this one) as they have mapped their own cars for quite a while.

Do you have the Controller? Software and SerialLink for Mapping via PC (I use the latter, I believe Teknopete uses the former)

Any of us can (not saying will, though) map your car to a good but most importantly safe and det-free state.

Obviously Bob Rawle is the master at this and I learnt all I know from him!

I don't have any of the stuff required for this job but did download the full Link manual off the MRT website so I know what you mean, I think you can download the software from there as well.

I understand why you wouldn't want to take on the job (due to the consequences if it goes pear shaped), but if you know of anyone who could do it (properley) and would, let me know. What are Falkland like?

Also, any idea about the led's on the Knock/Lambda links?

Cheers
Ally.

Depending where you've mounted the knock sensor, on my car the first two lights on the KnockLink light up under cranking only but the first couple of LED's come on as revs approach peak power in the 6000rpm area. You can check the Knocklink is working correctly by lightly tapping the sensor and watching the LED's.

The LambdaLink should be showing some form of LED activity dependant on throttle/load/rpm.
Full green on the right hand side for example will indicate a rich enough mixture.

You can download the software for the Link no problem but means nothing if you can't get access to your own map from the ECU.

Anyone in Scotland willing to help me out?
If not, looks like a nice long trip down south.
