Question What boost?

Hi

I was looking at V5 mans car (M reg classic) last night with him and the boost peaks at 1.0 bar and quickly drops back to 0.8 and stays there. His car has a full decat and a td05 but doesn't come on full boost until 3,500 - 4,000

Any ideas?

Thanks

could be because its so cold at the moment, does he have a bleed/grainger valve installed?

I couldn't exactly see your problem from that thread, is it the lack of constant 1bar boost or just the random increase last night?

Sorry the question is what boost should it run and why does it come in so late. The car doesn't seem to pull that well sometimes I just wondered if it was underboosting. The fuel consumption is terrible too He gets 160 - 180 miles from a tank!

What Boost - 11.47psi or if Prodrive ECU 13.64psi
Why so late - TD05, that's why...you probably won't have full boost till around 3,800rpm

10.8psi is 0.74BAR
11.6psi is 0.8BAR, so round about that....
