Lightbulb Oil Pressure

Had my new oil pressure gauge fitted today an need to know if it is showing what it should be.........? At Idle it sits at about 35/40 psi and when I put my toe down it rises to around 85 psi. Now I've been told that scooby's are set to run at 100 psi, so is there somthing wrong with my motor or does this sound normal?

Cheers

Steve

Mine is around 40psi at idle and 90psi during normal driving.
I believe that they can rise to 110 during really hard driving/ track days , when its a good idea to back off

Will depend on many things like how hot is the oil and what oil are you running.
Your figures sound fine.
Scoobies are not set to run at 100psi or anything else. They all vary a little even in like for like situations.
