My drivers side window on my classic has been getting worse and worse but I've had the door card off and cant work out where its going wrong, any ideas?

It seems to be getting stuck at the front edge as thats where I end up with black streaks, is this a common fault, if so how is it fixed?

With the door card off it goes up better but the card isnt restricting it, very confused.

help! its summer soon and pulling up somewhere and forcing the window up on my nice flash impreza is going to look very stupid indeed
