Normal operating temperatures?
Just got some Autometer guages to measure the oil and water temps so.....What are the normal temperatures for a WRX motor both oil and water in degrees F?
When I say normal, I mean everyday driving conditions...not track day temps!!
Any help much appreciated

Oil temp: Easy driving around 90-100C and on motorway upto 110C!
On track I've had it up to 120C and have read that you shouldn't take it above that, think I may have also got close to 120C on the motorway during the summer.
Don't start thrashing the car until temp has reached at least 80C!
Don't have water temp on mine so can't help there I'm afraid.

I find water temp on mine varies quite considerably under normal or thrashed conditions, between 82 and 95 degress seems quite normal.
Thrashing the car doesn't seem to make the difference you'd think as then there is a lot more air going through the rad and accross the engine so it actually ends up getting cooler.
