STi Internals forged or not ?
Ive just got off the phone with a really nice and helpfull guy who builds rallye engines for subaru.
Basicly as some of you guys will have read ive had trouble with my WRX, the compression in chamber number 1 is well down, and i have been advised buy many a source that long term i will need a rebuild with stronger internals to cope with the 350bhp ish i throw at it......now heres my quandry
This guy has gone on record saying that the STi internals are basicly not particularly stronger than the WRX ones,just a differnt shape and the breathers differ on the block and to be honest i would be better of fitting a P1 bottom end...this sounds like good advice to me, and he knows his apples....what do you guys think?
