Default Performance Issue

My STi Wagon seems to be down on performance, would a hole the size of 5p course a problem on performance.... The hole is located on the bottom of the exhaust pipe in line with the gear stick in the car... looks like it has been damaged by poxy speed humps. It spose to be 300bhp but don't feel like it to me any ideas would be helpful..

Thanks in advance
A.N

Exhaust leaks can be bad things generally.

Tip I read yesterday. Cut up old coke can (cut off ends and cut it once top-to-bottom), wrap exhaust with cylindrical remnant of can and attach it to the exhaust with two large jubilee clips/clamps.

Jeremy.
