MOT Emission Info' reg'd ...please
Ive got an MY93wrx, with a de-centre cat, and Prodrive backbox ....
Can anyone please tell me what the law is around emissions testing is on this age import... i seem to remember reading a thread a while back to say that this age car is in some way exempt due to lack of data,
Can anyone help,, car goes in this afternoon.

If you just have an aftermarket centre and tailpipe you shouldn't have a problem anyway because the cat is in the downpipe. Even with a full decat it should pass the MOT due to the lack of records for the WRX in the MOT database (up to 95). They have to find an exact model match for your car. If it isn't on there computer(it wont be) they will have to perform a less stringent test-fact.
