Default Newbie 'BOV Question'

Will having a BOV fitted make any difference on fuel consumpsion.. i.e increase or decrease and also... Will i notice any difference in turbo spool time

If you're talking about any turbocharged Impreza, your car already has a dumpvalve fitted, so what you'll actually be doing is changing it for an aftermarket one.

As far as your questions are concerned, the answers are not so you'd notice, and no. From a performance and engine health point of view, there's no reason why you'd want to change the standard valve.

no difference in fuel comsumption on my MY02 STi nor any added performance. But I love the sound and thats all thats counts for me.

Default Fitted a Turbosmart BOV

Supplied by TSL and i was very happy with the results...no difference in fuel consumption...get alot more bangs and farts from the zorst which is cool...performance wise i have noticed a difference in response.....
