Question ECU question

Wondering if anyone can shed any light on whether the RB5 ecu (in standard form ie not prodrived) is any different to the standard car of the same year or more particularly 801/802 units.
Thanks

Sorry to Hijack the thread but Bob can you answer me a question please? I have been offered a MY99 PPP ECU but it is just the board, so no case. 1. will this cause any problems? 2. Is there a was to ID a PPP board compared to a normal 800/801 board?

Thanks in advance.
