Hi, got a slight prob i cant figure out, and hoping someone can help.
My boost is going up to nearly 1.8 bar!! in 3rd 4th and 5th, i have cleaned the boost solinoid removed the restrictor (aprox 0.9ml) from the pipe coming from waist gate and just cant see how its geting to such high boost, the car is 97 type r with a decat and induction kit, this problem has only been resenct i no something is failing but not sure what??

Check the wastegate linkage can move.

Check the actuator is connected to non-leaking pipework.

 

1.7 bar you must be having some fun.
