could clutch be on the way out?
since my dad took my scoob out for a spin this afternoon and promptly attempted to launch it twice, much to my disapproval, the car has been juddering lots when pulling away, is this the clutch about to give up?
hope not i have to drive 400 miles to get home end of the week.

No.. just clutch judder from the deposits on the flywheel.. usual need to do a launch to get rid of the deposits or just put up with the judder until they wear off..
If you floor it in gear on a steep hill you might put enough heat in it to clean it off with out the need for a launch..
Parents huh!

You mean you had a scoob with a clutch that didn't judder? wow.
Oh well... Join the club.
You needn't do a standing start, but just slip the clutch for a bit when pulling, say in 3rd, does the trick for me,.
