Question home service

undefined
i've recently bought a 2000 turbo wagon 1999 and am planning to do the minor service work myself such as oil and filter ,plugs and HT leads but i must admit that it looks a wee bit tight down either side of that engine. do i need any special tools / knowledge ?

Some stuff you might want to know regarding the oil/filter change is here.

Engine is generally easy to work on, just need to get used to the geography. It's much easier to get down to the plugs if you remove the airbox and battery, and ideally the windscreen washer tank. Once they're out of the way all you need is a 14mm plug wrench and a 3" wobbly extension to get them out.
