Default Intermmitent low idle speed?

Can anyone tell me how to check/clean the idle control valve and throttle position sensors.

I seem to get intermittent drop in revs to 500rpm after hard driving or quick release of the throttle pedal.

Does not hunt on idle, no CEL codes and new lamda sensor recently.

Appreciate fellow scoobynetters advice.

If its a 99 it might be your MAF. Mine had similar symptoms which a new MAF sorted. Cost about £60 for a new one.

Its a 1995 WRX - thought the MAF was tougher on these models
