[URGENT HELP]shift light wireing?

[URGENT HELP]shift light wireing?
Hello peeps just purchased a SPA shift light[nice bit of kit] need some help wireing it up .There are 3 wires for the tacho signal 1]yellow green [chassis no problem there] 2]black[it says tacho-usualy chassis?] 3]red [tacho -connect to the tacho output of ecu .orthe coil[usualy necative side].
on the ecu diagram i have there dosent apear 2 bea tacho output..and scoobs dont have coils.....do u have the complete ecu diagram?
has any1 else wired up a shift light if so what did u do AND what are the wire colours 4 the tacho?...mines a JDM my96 wrx.
id be most grateful 4 any input.
