I have bought a water temperature gauge to go with my other gauges but can't find a suitable spot to install the sender unit that came with it. It's a small sender with a 3/8 thread, approx 35mm total length.

I have done searches on here and scoobycity without any joy, plenty of pics for installing boost and oil temperature but no water temperature!

Can anybody help please? MY97turbo

Is this on a Scoob? If so, is there not an OE water temperature gauge?


If there is, can you use the hole that the OE gauge's sender is in, or get a T-piece for it?

I assumed someone on here would have already installed a water temp gauge to their scooby and could have pointed me in the general area of where to put the temp sender unit. Your suggestion is a good option, I can locate the OE and check out the plumbing.
