Items....
1) 1/2" extended long handle socket wrench (very long handle is better).
2) Correctly sized socket for wheelnut adapter.
3) Mate with use of at least one leg.

Process...
1) Align car next to wall or lamp post or other solid structure.
2) Insert socket onto wheelnut ensuring free movement of handle.
3) Align mate with foot on head of socket wrench, braced with his back against wall/lamp post.
4) Attempt to remove offending locking wheel nut.

If the above fails, you'll have to get it drilled or ground off.

Failing that BIG **** off hammer, bray a socket on and then undo, but you will need some more locking wheel nuts. If you have lost the socket you will need to gwt some new nuts anyway. Subaru one are an absolute git.

Would suggest drifting an impact socket onto the offending wheel nut with a micro adjuster (aka 20lb hammer ), then undo as normal. After removal fit socket to vise and using a smaller extension bar, drift the nut back out of the socket. Repeat for each offending nut.

this might be a daft reply but have you had a good look in the car (glove compartment, ashtray, spare wheel) for the locking wheel nut adapter?

It looks like a standard adapter so you might get one at halfords or a local helpful garage (this happens all the time)surley.

You can get tools to do this at good motor shops. Its a socket with a lefthand thread in it. What you do is screw the socket onto the nut and it cuts a thread into it when it gets tight it undoes the locking wheel nut. You will need to buy new nuts after removal. But as you havent got a key for them anyway this should'nt be a problem

There looks like enough bolt sticking out to use a chisel and bolster, to knock them round.

I had this prob on mine, as stated try an old socket banged on first (I got 3 off like this), if this fails use the tool as described in the post above (I had to buy one for the last nut), was looking in the tool shop for a hex socket or something handy, I then saw this specific socket for removing wheels nuts, was quite suprised.

Or your local freindly garage - most have universal sockets that are designed to take off locking wheel nuts without the key socket

ALi-B is right, Kwik Fit and places like that can get them off, takes a couple of minutes, for a couple of quid

They have some sort of special socket

Leave it parked up in a lay-by for a night - The wheelnuts will soon be off. (only kidding)

I've had to use the mole grip method with success before as I bought a car and was given the wrong adapter for the nuts.

Good luck.

there is special sockets you can buy from poss halfords? they are a normal socket on the outside but the inner section as pins inside so when you put it on the nut the pins adapt to the shape and you can take them off that way you should be able to use the locking nuts as normal.

Special socket from Halfords eh?
Begs the questions why do we all bother fitting the damn nuts in the first place, if your local thief can get the required tools from Halfords!

Speacial tool is a gator grip which has already been mentioned don't know if they will supply enough torque. I have one and they are not mega robust. The speacialist socket with a left hand thread sounds the dogs tho....
