I've not long owned a JDM 96 WRX and was wondering if it's possible to remap the existing ecu to run on 97-98 ron fuel. Also what sort of cost would be involved in doing this?

My car is a MY 97 and think they only do them for pre 96 wrx's.

Does this mean my ecu is mappable??

 

i think not mate, you will have to buy a new ecu (link/motec etc) not gunna be cheap, best buying a seconhand 1 if u can
