pressure sensor exchange solinoid?

Just started the scooby today and check engine light came on ,so done the ecu check and it came up with code 45 pressure exchange solinoid, but i dont know what or where it is , i have a 93 wrx ,anybody know where this part is

If it's the same as a UK, it's on the driver's side suspension turret. The left most cylindrical is the wastegate solenoid, the one next to that (highest) is the pressure sensor, and the one next to that (lowest) is the one you're after, I believe, although on mine is called the pressure sources switching solenoid...

Disagree slightly..
It is the top one on the left suspension turret..
I have by passed it with my Link ecu and when I plugged the OEM ecu back in I got a 45 error code.. re-routed pipe and it went away.

Scroll to Under bonnet view of all sensors and click on 2..
You could by pass it take pipe from the top and connect to the MAP sensor, the only problem you would see is the error code..
but would be fine until you could get a replacement.. might be worth cleaning it before replacing.. connect green connectors and spray brake cleaner in it..

Cheers lads ,found it now, always wondered what that part was ,had a bit play with it and the little black filter thing on the end snapped off lol, so think i better get another 1, £25 from grade A scooby parts
