I need your help again,
After I have give my scoobe a bit of a roasting! smoke pours from the vents in the bonnet when stationary!
There are no obvious leaks but can see a small trace of oil on the exhaust manifold really low down.?!! I think that is what it is?!
On the drivers side below the turbo and under the cylinder head?!
After a whilethe smoke stops which I presume is the oil burning off?
I have read about rocker covers. Is this what mine seems to be and really how hard is it to resolve?
Thanks in advance.

Check the level of the transmission oil. At services the mechanics have a habit of overfilling it. Happened to me and it was a stinky mess. I had the garage drain it back to the proper level.
BTW, check it when warm, engine shut off, on level surface.

I'd agree it is drivers side rocker cover gasket..

All the parts come to £66 and it is no more than hours labour to sort.. I have bought the bits to do mine but never got around to sorting it.. If you clean it off you might find it will stop smoking as it manages to build up over time.. that stopped mine and a change of oil to Motul seems to have helped... lol
