hi all:
just wondering what type of mpg i can expect from my95 wrx sportwagon [which im collecting wednesday!!].been hearing some very up and down figures.
id emagine it will be a bit like my old honda v-tec when you could watch the gauge go down while pushing it/

Probably about 28mpg depends how you drive it..
go from standard still through first at full throttle into 2nd etc right through to 5th and best part of an 8th of a tank gone..
Drive it like miss daisy is in the back and can get 32mpg..
but not for long..
That is what I get from my MY96 UK anyway despite a few mods.

tophunter - i have a 95WRX saloon, I get between 240 and 280 miles to a tank. 240 if no motorway journeys, 280/290 with some 70mph driving, 260-270 with some 90mph driving.
I think the fact the imports aren't mapped for 97/98 RON fuel, and the low gear ratios compared to UK scoobs, send them a few mpgs down.
Put it this way you;d have to do 70 constantly to get 30mpg I think..
