i have just bought a my2000 classic shape ! love the car , and i want to start uprating it first by fitting a performance air filter , and not sure which one is the best way to go ? so please help ! which one should i go for ?

There's nothing wrong with the standard filter up to about 280/300 bhp. Most people go for a Green, ITG, or a K&N. Or you could get an STi,filter from your local dealer.

Welcome mate - I have a MY00 also and decided to uprate it to an ITG. Car felt better with the panel fitted but these oiled filters can cause serious problems for MAF's. So I decided to replace the ITG with an STI panel and for me the STI feels better again and if as safe as you can get cos its paper.
