Question

replacing the OE lambda with a wideband Lambda?

apart fromt he display/power unit needed the prices are similar..???

(bear in mind my car is modded a bit -FMIC LINK etc...)

Only if the WB can still provide a fake NB signal to your ecu to deal with closed-loop fuelling. TE v1.5-> can, I believe. WB signal outputs are normally in the 0-5v range; NB is ~0-1v.
