Question

what size tap would I need? and how easy to do?

To hold a lambda sensor? You need a spark plug threading that I was not able to find among normal tool suppliers, you may have to weld in a spark plug threaded nut (that my exhaust guy seemed to have a supply of.

cut old nut off weld on new nut would be my advice brad

M18 x 1.5 IIRC, its definately a pinto spark plug thread you need.
