The rear wheel arches on my JDM '03 STI have no obvious protection (unlike the fronts which have plastic protectors). In this weather, the inner thin metal lip of the arch retains grit, salt etc. Is there any extra protection on the UK STI? (Colchester has just lost its Subaru dealership, so I can't go along and check!) While the crud washes out easily enough, I remain concerned that this is a potential corrosion issue for UK driving.
