Question

I want to fit my newly acquired JDM Titanium strut brace to an STI8
(once I've cleared it with the insurance).
How is it done or is it a job for the professionals with realignment after?

personaly ..

it is realy easy just need a 12mm spanner the geometry will not be changed just stay more static as you will be holding the strut tops more positively fixed as the geometry is set static and you will just be keeping it more static when under load i.e cornering ...... chris

Just fitted the Carbon job to my STI7 - as it is held on by only 2 of the three bolts on each strutt top couldn't be simpler and nothing can move!

Is it not the same with titanium one?

Question

Yes, just two out of three.
So I can just undo them with the cars weight on the wheels, put the brace in and do them back up?
Do I have to worry about what torque to do them back up with?

With the remaining bolt not touched I assumed nothing would move!

Torque settings - I just dont break em off too tight, but remember to use thread lock. Not sure of oficial torque setting.

yeah be really careful with the torque. i snapped one of my bolts wen fitting mine @7lb. may have been a dodgy bolt tho. some one recomended 10lb torque wen i asked about fitting a few months ago.its a pi$$ easy job.
