I have noticed over the last week my boot has been leaking (found a puddle in wheel well)
It gets wet on drivers side next to the wheel well.
I have checked the boot seal but could not find any damage or damp.
Anyone had a simmilar problem?
MY99

Any suggestions would be a great help

Thanks. Chris.

Rear light lenses and rear inner wing close to the strut top mount.

Remove the hard plastic coverings on each side of the boot which go round to your rear lights.

In the mean time if you look underneath there is a bung that fits in the hole under where the spare bolts too..

Remove the bung and any water that runs in just runs out the bottom..

Link Alan said it is normally the rear lights..

I had this problem on my UK MY99 too. Rear lights are a big weakness (had same problem on the wifes MY97 Sport wagon) - the seal tends to break down.

Pop out the light unit and get some silicone and re-seal. There's plenty of posts on here if yoy do a search.
