can anyone out there tell me (or come round and show me) which pipe i have to cut and put the t piece connector into to fit a boost guage cheers

Depends on what year as some have a spare nipple on the manifold that you can just connect onto..

I have T'd mine into the dump valve vaccum line, as mine being an early (96) car there is no spare nipple on the manifold.

jolly g,m, mines a 96N so do i just cut the thin tube coming from the bottom of the dump valve?

Yes small pipe from dump valve to the inlet manifold.

I believe this to be the better of the three pipes connected to the manifold as the other two are fuel pressure regualor and map sensor (via the pressure control solenoid) both of which you don't really want to risk causing fluctuations in.

middle of the three hoses on manifold on my 94

As long as they haven't been swapped around..

Any of the three in theory should be fine but I just would rather risk a problem with the dumpvalve than the fuel or map.
