ive recently fitted a hks fuel cut defender and bleed valve but on acceleration im hitting problems at 3500rpm. it will not boost higher. Ive tried setting the fcd between 5 and 10, no joy! and the bleed valve is fitted on the pipe away from actuator. when opening up bleed valve problem occurs. any ideas on whats causing these problems????????

It won't boost higher than what at 3,500rpm, and how is it not boost? Fuel cut or simply the boost isn't coming?
Also, the FCD should only need to be set at its minimal level to just raise cut enough to allow the boost you are after - more & it can start doing strange things to the fuelling, etc. & performance or the engine will suffer.

No - you are still hitting fuel cut.
From what I remember of the FCD, even set to the lowest level, this is enough to raise boost to a sensible point. So... either the boost you are setting is very high (whan boost is it cutting out at?), or yup, the FCD isn't connected to the right wires!
