underneath the rear bumper on the offside of the car next to the fuel tank is a box. Is this the fuel pressure control solenoid and if so whats it do, obviously controlling the fuel pressure but for what reason.

cheers guys thx i looked on my cd for an sti 8 but it didnt say anything about it and that was the nearest name to it.
