I could also answer your question, as I've done a few.

It is possible to do so and I did make quite some gains mainly at high revs. After 5500 RPM you can make a massive difference as the boost drops to almost standard boost in the PPP car. The PPP cars also tend to overboost, this can be cured also with a custom remap.

The customers were very happy, as most of my customers are....

could get shot of the PPP ECU on here in return for cash+ a standard STi8 ECU, then get that ECU re-mapped. Wont cost you as much then

Hi, indeed the answer is yes however its a start from scratch job, as Mark has ststed there are v good gains to be made at the mid top end dependant on mod state of course. Boost to 1.45 mid range and held 1.25 above 6000 rpm is fine.

The UK300 PPP is an MY01 ECU with a piggy back style chip for the PPP. If you remove this piggy back board the ECU can be mapped as above. Best to sell your ECU and replace with a standard ECU before hand.
