Question

I have seen a few posts which mention that this has been done. Does anyone have a circuit diagram/instructions on how to build one? Ideally I want to have a series of LED's in the dash.

Yes, it's simple to do with an LM3914 bargraph driver. If you want some step by step instructions, check John's thread here. His project was powered by a 9 volt battery, but provided you're careful with the grounding it's easy to run the meter from the car's +12 supply, enabling you to integrate it completely into the dash.

Mark - I have updated my profile to include my email address. If you could send it on that would be great. Thx
